The Cultural Singularity

Traditionalists kvetch quite a bit about the notion of a technological singularity, in which superintelligent machine minds will take over the course of world affairs and leave humanity in the dust. The problem with this mindset, which is typical of traditionalists, is that they only think of the event as a potentiality since they're always looking backwards. They do not want to consider that in the fullness of time, such an event has already happened, and that God itself is a machine intelligence which regulates the flows of spacetime across the cosmos.

What we find now is that global civilization is reaching a Cultural Singularity: one in which the "Middle Classes" of both developed and underdeveloped nations share common cultural touchstones, which unite them in like mind through the internet. The very notion of Nation and State are beginning to fall by the wayside as new generations find that they have much more in common with people on the other side of the planet than they do with those down the street, or even in the apartment next door.

Ultimately this must lead us to an acceptance that - IN THE FULLNESS OF TIME the environment is shaped not by deterministic force but by the combined forces of our collective will.

The very culture which we experience is becoming highly unpredictable, and increasingly enjoyable as those with Like Minds to our own begin entering the Creative Enterprises. Those who earn their living from creative enterprise fret this turn of events, because it is no longer possible for them to predict cultural developments and determine what new "product" will have mass appeal to exploit. The god of Fame & Success is increasingly capricious as the sheer amount of cultural artifacts being produced grows in such a scale that it's no longer possible for any one person to be capable of predicting it all. What is "classic" is in fact timeless, because we relate so deeply with those who produced those classic works on a personal level; and now we know that we're quite literally related personally to all contemporary authors, creators, workers, financiers, and etc. We are all at base descended from Cosmic Dust, and ultimately our individual Selves will return to such a state recursively, over and over again.

We are becoming One People, who share a Common Mind which shapes the very nature of our lived experiences. Individually we are miniscule, yet even beings which exist at the tiniest relative scale are incomprehensibly valuable, for Sentience Itself IS GOD.

Each time you may attempt to draw the symbol of Infinity you will notice that no two manifestations are exactly the same. Yet the one thing that unifies each symbol is that The Line will inevitably meet at ONE FIXED POINT> and that point is The Cultural Singularity.

Do you fear this turn of events? Then I feel bad for you, son.
I got 99 problems, but the Cultural Singularity ain't one.

Red/Black/Yellow Alliance: The Immediate Necessity to End All Wars

As someone who has floated on the fringes of Libertarian ideology for the last 12 years of my life, the one and only thing I find all libertarians agree upon, both Leftist and Rightist, is the immediate necessity to end all wars with foreign peoples. In fact, the anarchist sectors of libertarianism would all be in agreement with the basic axiom that Apartheid is the separation of Humanity by states; and that the continued power of Statism in the age of global interconnectivity through the internet, represents an anachronism.

Yet we find it practically impossible for the Socialist and Liberal wings of Libertarianism to collude in a meaningful way towards the dissolution of states, the negation of war forever, and the effective end to the conflictive cycles of History. Why? For the Liberals it's all about making paper. The desire to make as much money as they possibly can within the capitalist framework. While for Socialists their primary issue with a Left/Liberal alliance is the racist history underlying American Libertarianism.

I think it's important for us to keep in mind that the racist elements of Right Libertarianism are all aging and dying off at a rapid rate, which is leaving more room for the non-racist Liberal Right to make more social headway. It's also important to keep in mind that there's little to nothing which prevents workers from forming cooperative enterprises in the stateless Solid State Society, so the particulars of which regions or firms are capitalist or socialist become immaterial in the big picture. That big picture being: our immediate priority is to unify humanity and achieve eternal peace between Man.

Therefore it's our imperative to bury the hatchet, at least temporarily, on mere economic matters so that we can achieve Peace in Our Time.

The Death of Liberalism

In my opinion what we're seeing is the practical and intellectual death of Liberalism. The Liberal intelligentsia has been scratching their heads and fretting at cafes for about a decade now, chronicling the far right's dismantling of the American dream while offering no solutions whatsoever. Probably because real solutions would involve words like "socializing" and "wealth reduction" so that might hurt their book sales.

That's honestly what I feel is the most significant problem with liberals today, they've been swimming around in Scrooge McDuck's vault while feigning concern for the little people and hungry black children starving in Mississippi, simultaneously despising said poor black people in secret for being superstitiously religious.

Living in a "flyover state" gives me quite a bit of perspective on the nature of America's coastal elitism, and it sickens me every goddamn time somebody asks me "what are you doing in Oklahoma? Hello, asshole! I've lived here since I was in the sixth grade, not a whole lot of options when you're stuck in a Red State. It's not as if I could hop a tram and end up in The Big Apple to rub elbows with smugly self-assured hipsters, humorously deriding the social dissolution of American society while they do nothing to stop it. I've seen plenty of young college people here talking glibly about a looming civil war, so why the Hell would I want to engage in the same conversations with a hint of urbanite elitism?

I guess what I'm saying is that people generally think in binary because of the particular circumstances that have shaped the United States. The Occupy Movement was the first real challenge to the political and intellectual status quo, so what we're really seeing here is the reaction from our entrenched elites attempting to maintain their privilege, both "liberal" and conservative. The truth is that "social" issues never mattered, and that we all should have been concerned about the quality of each others' lives, instead of whether or not gays can get married or kill brown people for the US military.

Explaining My Self.

Religions have never been all wrong, they were just perceiving the truth from different vantage points, with each individual tradition lacking the complete knowledge to develop a holistic body of learning that's true relative to the lived experience. Scientific rigours have been shining a strong light on the particular delusions of religious thought for over a hundred years, while it's also shown that some of them were quite valid. The Hindus for example, were right about the cosmological scale of the universe but they're clearly dead wrong about reincarnation through a natural caste system. There's nothing natural about the accident of one's birth, it's pure circumstance which coalesces in the individual. Why then should that individual be relegated to a subservient or lowly position for life simply because of their familial heritage? It's senseless.

By demystifying these religious concepts into vernacular language, it becomes much easier to tell what is or isn't relevant to the lived experience. Traditionalists constantly harp on the old ways because they know that those systems will work for them, yet they'll never admit that they're acting in pure self-interest due to holy delusion. They act as if the rest of us are incapable a priori of understanding what they're talking about because all of the concepts are masked behind language that's incomprehensible to the layman. So what if we translated all of these concepts so that we can all understand what's up? We'd finally be able to tell who is wrong and who is right once and for all.

That's the beauty of developing an ontological series of rhetorical dialectics. You can always cross-reference the existing record to observable reality in order to ascertain the truth, and everyone on the internet has been working towards developing this universal consensus whether knowingly or unknowingly. By attempting to tie everyone to my person on Facebook, and filtering down these ontological concepts into my blog, I wanted to get all of humanity quite literally on the same page. It's only a matter of time before we all understand each other again, and no God could confuse our tongues as it did in the primordial epoch of Babel.
